|1||Read key vocabulary on p. 2 of their Cold War Booklet (CWB) and rewrite into their own words.||Create an analogy for each key vocabulary term, using common everyday scenarios.|
|2||Compare/contrast the Cold War alliances map of the world to the WWII alliances map of the world on pp. 2 and 3 of CWB. Students must hypothesize why these alliances changed based on how WWII ended and then cite evidence from prior material to back up their observations and conclusions.||Create a cause and effect graphic organizer displaying the shift in alliances between WWII and the Cold War, and why those alliances shifted.|
